15 years ago we caught sight of a boarded up Victorian school perched on the edge of one of the prettiest village greens in East Anglia. We converted it into a wonderful home in 2001 but 10 years later decided it was time to share this lovely peaceful building with others so transformed the grounds and building into farm shop, bar, restaurant and accommodation. The farm shop stocks locally made chutneys, jams and marmalades as well as local free range eggs, rare breeds bacon and sa.

Ank Guest house is a family run business situated in the town. Wick train station and hospital are only a 3-4 min walk away. The views at the back overlook the countryside and it is a stones-throw from the harbour. Which makes it a perfect rest stop for the ferry to Orkney.
